Duties Working to create shop drawings and part files using AutoCAD and other programs. Working well with SAEs and members of the Engineering Team. Document control such as redlines and updating shop files. Maintaining a production schedule. Utilization of internally developed programs for getting data to various departments. Willingness to learn and cross train into other design roles. Self-motivated person who can quickly prioritize with minimal oversight. Education and Skills Computer Aided Design drafting certification or Associates Degree in drafting, designing or related degree or 5 years or more of shop floor experience with the ability to learn AutoCAD as well as other programs. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows. This position requires the ability to navigate through Microsoft Windows accessories including Windows Explorer as well as Microsoft Office Software. A good working knowledge of AHU configuration and assembly. Problem solving ability and creativity. Ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision. Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals. Good communication skills.
