This role is responsible for building relationships, promoting great products, and delivering expert service. This role manages existing accounts while working to develop new prospects and opportunities. Excellent communication, organizational skills, and the drive to achieve goals are key to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and relationship building.
Provide exceptional sales and customer experiences to swiftly move prospects through the sales process.
Maintain a consistent pipeline to meet sales goals.
Call on existing accounts to build relationships, sell and respond to customer needs.
Visit jobsites to assure contractors have the necessary materials and to provide assistance as needed.
Execution of detailed monthly sales and gross profit goals.
Maintain high level of customer service through organization of tasks and responsibilities.
Active participation in various new home builder organizations.
Build effective relationships with team members and key stakeholders.
Monitor and communicate on the status of customer jobs and accounts through the building process.
Requirements
2+ years of sales experience.
Demonstrated work in growing new business and ability to generate leads.
Experience working with sales and profit goals in a commission-based pay system.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design layouts.
Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of customers, verbally and written.
Valid driver’s license.
Some evening and weekend work when required.
Preferred Experience
Familiar with framing components, framing products and installations of these products.
Familiar with residential and commercial construction process and building materials.
Experience in the estimating of product quantities.

This position will have regular exposure to cold, hot, wet, dry and/or humid conditions.
