Job Abstract

JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures that the facilitys equipment (filler, capper, labeler, case sealer, case printers, drop packers, palletizers) and machines are maintained properly and working correctly.

Conducts routine facility inspections, logs equipment operating parameters and adjusts equipment as required

Execute the facilitys maintenance program; identifies and analyzes equipment or machinery failures and takes corrective actions.

Provides technical training to production team members.

Support the coordination of work performed by outside contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants

Assure that all safety systems are working properly, fans, alarms, gas detectors, fire suppression, etc.

Performs preventive maintenance and makes repairs to heating, ventilating, air conditioning equipment according to instructions such as replacing belts on motors, changing filters, bearings, etc.

Performs minor electrical work not requiring a licensed electrician such as replacing light bulbs and fuses.

Performs other related duties as assigned
