Position Overview: The Business Development Assistant at York Revolution plays a pivotal role in fueling the excitement of Revs baseball by supporting the VP of Business Development and the dynamic sales team. This position is at the heart of our mission to bring unforgettable experiences to the York community. Join our winning lineup as we team up to ensure every event is a grand slam success!
Key Responsibilities:
Process invoices and contracts promptly and accurately.
Assist in collecting payments and coordinating event logistics and details.
Assist in creating compelling proposals for potential sponsors and partners.
Provide prospecting support for the sales team
Manage CRM system to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Handle incoming hospitality donation requests and coordinate fulfillment.
Manage small group sales inquiries and transactions.
Provide essential support to the sales team, including administrative tasks and customer service.
Support VP of Business of Development in preparing reports
Assist in executing team promotional contests, incentives, and special events.
Provide occasional mailing support
Review bi-weekly staff time cards for accuracy and completeness.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the business development operation of the York Revolution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the organization.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during the baseball season as required.
