The?Trainer Superintendent will be responsible for managing the training department. Objectives include training initiatives, new employee orientation for production operations, developing content, delivering training, and evaluating training effectiveness for new and existing employees. The Superintendent will lead a team of 2-3 people to deliver training that focuses on improving performance, efficiency, productivity, safety, and engagement, all while improving advancement opportunities for employees.
Evaluate employees' skills and performance quality.
Assist with identification of areas in employees' skills that require improvement through gap analysis.
Organize training sessions specific to various roles in multiple plant departments.
Ensure that new staff members receive appropriate introductory/orientation onboarding and training.
Oversee preparation of instructional materials.
Plan annual refresher courses for all staff members.
Assist with coordination of annual performance reviews, IDP’s, Mid-Year Reviews, and courses or needs in training associated with those tasks.
Coordinate training logistics, such as, scheduling, tracking, record keeping, and maintaining training materials.?
Work cross-functionally to assist in maintaining the site’s training records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Manage and coordinate the development of training materials and courses as needed.
Assist with evaluating training effectiveness and provide input to selection of proper course content.
Deliver training, as needed using various methods (individual, group, on-the-job, virtual, recorded, etc.)
Assist with training-related reporting for Hourly employees.
Participate in HR, WCM, and EHS activities.

5+ years of hands-on manufacturing, maintenance, and/or distribution experience
Solid experience developing and executing training for new and existing employees.
1-3 years of people leadership experience
Ability to work effectively in a team environment, work independently, and demonstrate leadership abilities.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Excellent planning and time management skills.
