Job Abstract

Located in the heart of the Central Business District (CBD) at 481 Girod Street, Luzianne Caf is bringing the local brands you know and love from your pantry to our table.

We are looking for Line Cooks to join our restaurant.

Hours of Operation: Wednesday - Sunday; 7AM-4PM

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sets up and stocks food stations with necessary supplies
• Preps food for service
• Prepares menu items according to chefs recipes and presentation standards
• Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard
• Performs cleaning tasks to a high standard at all times, following standard operating procedures and ensuring a constantly clean environment
• Assists bussing tables and washing dishes as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of experience preparing food in a fine dining, fast casual, or short order restaurant
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Professional and polite team member
• Creativity
• Excellent multi-tasker with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm demeanor
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to lift and move items up to 25 pounds
