Position Summary
The Financial Analyst will support key financial planning and analysis activities for the Clinical Next-Generation Sequencing division! They will report to the Sr. Manager Finance working together to provide finance support across the division. This is a high visibility role within the business, providing a tremendous opportunity for learning and long-term career growth. Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver key weekly financial reporting & insight, partnering with essential team members
- Drive tactical objectives in support of monthly & quarterly business reviews, annual operating plans, and the planning processes
- Support key initiatives providing vital data for deep analysis of the organization
- Demonstrate FP&A leadership with timely, accurate, and valuable information
- Partner cross-functionally to drive projects from planning to execution
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making processes and initiatives
- Continuously improve and streamline financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Perform special projects and ad-hoc reports and presentations as needed to support the team and senior management
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with significant coursework in finance, accounting, and/or a quantitative field
- 1-to-3 years’ experience in finance
- Certifications including CPA and CFA are a plus
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strong business sense
- Superior attention to detail while moving quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Expert-level Excel and PowerPoint skills and working knowledge of IT systems
- Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas orally and in writing
- Self-reliant, problem solver with a natural bias towards continuous operational improvement
- Understanding of finance, accounting, and impact to reporting systems
- Consistent record of working with a diverse group of individuals
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
- High level of intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $25.60–$34.13.
