Job Abstract

Amentum is seeking Counterintelligence Officers to support our Client in the Northern Virginia area. This position represents multiple openings. The position level contingent on applicant specific qualifications and experience. 

Applicants will be evaluated and placed in a level from 1-5 based off their experience and customer feedback after multiple assessments

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and at least 3-7+ of relevant professional experience; candidates with a master’s degree is highly desirable.

Experience conducting vulnerability analysis or surveys

Ability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings

Strong knowledge of foreign adversaries’ intelligence capabilities including cyber/technical, information operations, and HUMINT

Understanding of offensive and defensive counter-intelligence methods

Familiarity with the concepts involved in CI risk analysis including insider threat detection

Knowledge of and experience in the fundamentals of intelligence operations to include risk assessment

For level 5: at least 2 total overseas tours (CONUS or OCONUS) or 4 years' worth of TDY experience

Must possess a high-level US Government issued clearance at the time of application

Desired qualifications:

Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations

Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases to craft targeting packages

Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices

Formal CI training and/or certifications

Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing
