Job Abstract

This position involves leadership of the global corporate cash management function and various finance-related projects. The optimal candidate will have corporate cash management experience, strong managerial and interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment with interaction across functions, and a willingness to grow with the position.  

• Lead and develop a team of cash management professionals with global operations

• Oversee daily cash settling, near-term cash forecasting, and investments of excess cash in accordance with company policies

• Manage the daily operations of our syndicated debt facilities and commercial paper program

• Responsible for management of our financial assurances, primarily related to the decommissioning of offshore assets

• Maintain strong dialogue with Corporate Finance and Planning to ensure efficient management of cash and liquidity

• Lead special projects where Treasury input is required (e.g., corporate credit card program, airplane lease financing, standalone lending facilities, etc.)

• Prepare materials for senior management and the Board of Directors as directed

• Manage intercompany cash flow, including intercompany lending, dividends, and capital contributions, in collaboration with other departments

• Oversee our domestic and international bank accounts and ensure compliance with internal policies

• Ensure compliance with all internal policies and accounting controls applicable to  cash and bank account management

• Other ad hoc projects as directed

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• 10+ years in Treasury or finance-related field

• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

• Financial analysis skills with a solid understanding of accounting principles

• Strong understanding of debt and equity capital markets

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Team player with managerial experience

• Oil & gas industry experience
