Senior Quality Consultant
Job Description
Purpose & Scope:
The Quality Team is responsible for supporting the organization in four essential domains which include Patient Safety, Clinical Quality Management, Regulatory Compliance, and Performance Improvement.
In conjunction with the AVP of Quality Resource Management and the Director of Quality and Patient Safety, provides leadership and support for a variety of quality & safety improvement initiatives. Key functions of the Senior Quality Consultant include collaborating with quality taskforce and committees to achieve transformational and sustainable improvements by providing project/program management support, performing evaluations utilizing performance improvement tools and offering evidence based best practices and quality improvement strategies to implement sustainable improvements. These components along with knowledge and experience of frontline clinical operations will provide structure and oversight to improve quality and patient safety.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in nursing, health systems management, or in a related field is required.
Master's degree in a related field is required.
Experience:
Three years of experience in healthcare, safety, and continuous quality improvement are required.
Three years of experience in regulatory compliance and statistical analysis are preferred.
Certification/Licensure:
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
Six Sigma Training preferred.

May encounter patients, family members, co-workers, and visitors under all conditions, e.g. hostile and/or emotionally upset.
