OBJECTIVE
The CAD Documentation Specialist will generate a foundation of accurate engineering documentation using Solidworks. The position is responsible for converting old drawing formats and creating new 2D and 3D product drawings and models using sound documentation techniques and recognized geometric dimensioning and tolerancing protocols.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Recreate and correct old product component, sub-assembly, and final assembly products drawing in Solidworks, and reverse engineer as required.
Provide documentation support, as required, for Support Engineering or Product Engineering,
Manage proper storage of CAD related files and facilitate engineering change requests
Investigate/learn the various product lines and their associated component assemblies, in order to efficiently coordinate the transformation of files.
