Overview
THE ROLE:
The Analyst II, Global Compensation will be primarily responsible for leading global compensation initiatives, such as our global total compensation analysis and redesign, annual merit, bonus, and equity planning, and global salary survey participation. The role will serve as a global compensation subject matter expert in evaluating and crafting market-competitive compensation programs that attract, retain, and engage employees to help drive business success and further the employer brand.
HOW YOU WOULD CONTRIBUTE:
• Assists in the design of compensation policies/initiatives to ensure competitiveness and coordinates compensation programs in alignment with global guidelines
• Participates and provides full support in the year-end Compensation Planning process, including but not limited to developing guidelines, processes, consolidation of data, data validations, preparation of reports for reviews, and bringing up issues/concerns when necessary
• Participates and supports efforts to improve existing compensation processes and/or develops new compensation processes
• Conducts job benchmarking and market pricing exercises
• Leads participation in various compensation surveys and works closely with regional compensation analysts teams to ensure accurate and high-quality submission on time
• Performs data analysis and generates meaningful insights using internal data/metrics and external data/trends to drive pay decisions and program designs
• Develops creative approaches and methods for consolidating and preparing data for various reviews and presentation
• Researches industry trends and evaluates market-driven solutions and vendors for compensation
• Manages relationships, operations and performance of compensation service vendors to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
• Provides proactive Project Management support for key Compensation projects and initiatives through various lifecycle stages to ensure successful completion and impact. Support includes, but is not limited to, the implementation and administration of new programs, evaluation of existing programs to identify improvement areas or opportunities, analyzing employee utilization reports, etc.
• Ensures that compensation philosophy and programs are effectively communicated and driven globally by assisting with authoring, compiling, and editing communication and training materials
• Supports HR teams on day-to-day Compensation matters such as new hire offers, promotions, and market adjustments, providing internal and external data-based recommendations
• Assign positions to the accurate pay grades and job codes based upon results of job analysis
• Provide consultation and service to management and HR Business Partners regarding market trends, position, classifications, and application of compensation programs, policies, and guidelines
• Assist with administration of all incentive related programs, including merit, bonus, and equity
• Maintain and run periodic as well as ad-hoc reports on compensation-related data from the HRIS system. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of data. Respond to data requests and use Excel to manipulate data for analysis
• Assist with ongoing projects, timelines, presentations, communication materials, policies, etc.
• Assist with design, implementation, communication, and administration of new incentive plans and recognition and rewards programs
• Remain up-to-date on local regulations and educates employees and HR staff as necessary.

Qualifications
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Skills:
• Experience with major salary survey providers (prefer Mercer or WTW)
• Outstanding Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables, vlookups, graphing, formulas and functions
• Strong mathematics skills and analytical ability
• Ability to analyze complex data and develop sound recommendations and solutions
• Experience in managing data within an HRIS systems and using reporting systems
• Excellent planning and follow-up skills required; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision
• Ability to prioritize workload for effective implementation
• Strong customer and results orientation
• Ability to function as an effective team member and interact effectively at all levels with sensitivity to cultural diversity
• Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves
Experience:
• 4 years of professional level compensation experience in the design and administration of compensation programs, job leveling systems, salary survey participation and analysis, bonus design and administration, and merit design and administration, preferably for a global or multinational company
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master’s degree/MBA
• Experience with Mercer and PayFactors market pricing tools
• Experience with Oracle Fusion HRIS
• Experience with ServiceNow HR ticketing for compensation requests
• Experience with Success Factors Performance Management
