Job Description:
Education:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, merchandising, or a similar field of study, or equivalent years of related work experience is required.
Work Experiences:
- 10+ years of in retail management, retail operations, or visual merchandising
- 5+ years leading project teams
- Experience opening new stores
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
- Experience in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous environment

Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
- Oversee all aspects of New Store Implementation and team of Project Managers
- Lead the new store implementation responsibilities, including New Store Openings, Building Relocations, and Store Update Projects.
- Ensure all projects meet standards, including execution planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, changes, risks, and other issues as they arise.
- Create and define long-term strategies and tactics to improve new store implementation and execution.
- Analyze and use data for decision-making insights regarding projects and improvements.
- Analyzes the probable impact of recommendations and solutions from other business groups
- Conducts post-implementation analysis
- Manage resources to cover project timelines and expectations adequately
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Store Operations, Real Estate, Construction, Human Resources, and Legal.
- Collaborate with field leadership to understand each project and tailor strategies to meet business needs
- Seek feedback from our store leaders to gain clarity on opportunities within areas of accountability
- Stay connected to relevant market and industry trends that impact New Store Implementation and enable better decision-making for Academy initiatives
