Sodexo is seeking a Sr. Finance Manager for a corporate services client in Rahway, NJ. The role will serve as the Senior Finance Manager supporting the Projects portfolio of a large Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) account. This position will report to the Finance Director of the account and will work directly with Sodexo’s project operations team and client in the US on the account. This position will be onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the P&L for the project portfolio and ensure proper revenue and expense recognition, and manage the balance sheet related to the assets and liabilities
Establish strict cost controls for all spending and ensure alignment with Solution budget
Manage Procure to Pay (P2P) system as a management control system and reporting protocols for projects/construction, to ensure cost controls are in place.
Ensure spending is aligned to a Project Plan and Purchase Order.
Project reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance or equivalent experience
Significant financial exposure impacting key P&L and balance sheet lines, for example, project costing, pricing, and accounting
Relationship builder both internally and externally, with the ability to influence and negotiate e
Experience in project accounting and construction industry and or project costing preferred
Standardized process development and implementation experience
Hands-on pro-active approach with an ability to work well autonomously
Excellent communication and presentation skills and proven ability to work in a collaborative way
Construction Project Management experience a plus
Working knowledge of SAP, Smartsheet, and UFS/SAP Fiori
