Job Summary
B&A is looking for an EBS/APEX Application/OBIEE Reports Specialist, to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. As an EBS/APEX Application/OBIEE Reports Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications, developing custom applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX), and generating insightful reports using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE). This role requires expertise in EBS Projects modules such as Planning and Control, Portfolio Analysis, Costing, and Contracts, as well as proficiency in APEX and OBIEE.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, design, develop, implement, and support custom solutions within Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), with a focus on the Projects modules.
- Utilize Oracle Application Express (APEX), a Low Code development platform, to create responsive and user-friendly applications on the Oracle database, leveraging SQL, PL/SQL, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Design and develop interactive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and end-users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet business needs and objectives.
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for existing EBS, APEX, and OBIEE applications, including performance optimization and bug fixes.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends related to EBS, APEX, OBIEE, and related tools and technologies.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), specifically in the Projects modules for Planning and Control, Portfolio Analysis, Costing, and Contracts.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle Application Express (APEX) for developing applications on an Oracle database, using SQL, PL/SQL, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) for creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Desired Skills
- Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) certification(s).
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards and guidelines.
