The Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology (CAT) department is looking to add a Coordinator II to their collaborative team of caregivers. This part time position is critical to the anesthesiology staffing at two different control desks in our surgical suites where you will assist with anesthesiology scheduling, caregiver staff assignments, physician administrative support, and scheduling maintenance to ensure a smooth workflow for the daily operations. This position requires flexibility to cover the anesthesia operations control desk three days/week, but days of the week may vary dependent on staffing.
The ideal future caregiver is someone who:
Has medical office experience.
Is proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Has experience with EPIC and Qgenda.
Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.

Part Time Hours: 6:30am-3:00pm Monday, Tuesday and every other Wednesday.
Preferred candidates will have experience with Microsoft Outlook and Epic.
Responsibilities:

- Functions as department liaison by coordinating various activities and providing customer support to internal and external customers.
- Assists with performance evaluations, counseling and on-boarding of new employees.
- Performs duties related to the preparation, implementation and analysis of special studies and projects.
- Maintains office supplies and equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High School or GED required.

- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of three years experience coordinating and assisting with management functions and special projects; proficient with spreadsheets, word processing and database software.

- Requires extensive sitting and manual dexterity to perform work on a PC.
- Typical physical demands include the ability to sit, stand or walk to other locations as needed.
- Visual acuity to perform computer functions.
