BASIC PURPOSE: The Replenishment Analyst is responsible for inventory replenishment, analytics, forecasting, and overall inventory optimization in partnership with merchandising and operational teams. This role will contribute to the vision, goal setting, and delivery of current and future reporting, replenishment planning, and adherence to relevant inventory metrics. A core function of this role includes building relationships with Love’s internal support teams, category management team, suppliers, and manufacturers.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Replenishment
Lead and develop initiatives for auto-replenishment and other supply chain needs
Optimize vendor order/delivery schedules
Manage allocation and distribution of inventory
Identify and prevent data integrity challenges related to ordering and receiving
Manage vendor relationships and engagement with Love’s
Develop, support, and implement enhancements to Love’s inventory and replenishment processes
Analysis
Analyze and create action plans for optimizing inventory levels and forecasting trends
Ability to understand process flows, identify gaps, and implement improved process efficiency standards
Provide analytical reporting and suggestions to improve supply chain processes
Provide analysis, insights, and score-carding of vendor activity
Supply Chain Technology
Drive continuous improvements efforts to ensure efficient processes
Lead enhanced development and implementation of replenishment & inventory applications
Leverage technology to effectively execute merchandising strategy
Develop, support, and implement technology enhancements to Love’s inventory and replenishment processes
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education:
BA degree or higher in Supply Chain Management or other business-related field and/or 5 years relevant work experience
Experience:
In-depth, hands-on knowledge of retail merchandising systems
Knowledge of industry trends, “best practices” and Six Sigma process improvements are preferred
Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques
Knowledge and usage of retail analytics software and Tableau and/or SQL preferred
