Laser Marker
Pay: $20.00 - $ 25.00 per hour Location: Moorpark, CA Status: Full Time, non-exempt
The Production Technician is responsible for performing various tasks in the production process, including laser marking, final inspection, ultrasonic cleaning, packaging components, and packaging finished orders. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and collaboration with team members to ensure the efficient and accurate completion of production tasks.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Laser Marking
Utilize digital catalog to confirm devices on sales order matches description of device to be marked, i.e., Dimensions, material type and other device characteristics.
If device does not meet all the criteria then the laser marker must notify quality control.
Using Class 4 laser and EZCAD software to mark catalog numbers, sizes, data matrix on devices and any other required. Use the ratio to clean the laser mark
Validate data marked on devices by scanning data matrix into Excel validator file. If data is wrong, return the item to quality control personnel.
Final Inspection
Verify that the device has all the required laser marks. Refer to laser marking catalog.
Ultrasonic
After devices are marked and inspected, clean them in the ultrasonic machine, and ensure cleanliness of product per SOPs
Packaging components
Wrap all components and ensure each has a Purchase Order before shipping to the vendor. Some vendors may require a drawing along with purchase orders.
Packaging Devices (Finished Orders)
Package cleaned devices and prepare them for delivery as per SOP.
Ensure labels are printed by the front office before packaging.
Place packaged boxes in the front office to be received by carriers for delivery.

Fulfill requests of marking various items with the Laser machine
Hardware trouble shooting
Laser File Back Up
Cleaning Ratero
Troubleshoot Ratero
Fixing sales orders
Training employees
Restocking shipping supplies
Cleaning work area
Tracing
Assisting with Laser Catalog
Receiving packages
Filing documents
Skills & Experiences:
Basic knowledge in Microsoft Excel
EZCAD 1, EZCAD2
Basic Computer Skill
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred.
Familiarity with laser marking equipment and software is a plus.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs accurately.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
