This position will supervise the day-to-day operations of their assigned grader which includes the loader area, machine operations, and packaging line. The Grader Supervisor will ensure the safe and efficient operation of machinery in accordance with established Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure on time processing which meets or exceeds established standards for quality.

2nd Shift Grader Supervisor Details:
Direct Hire position
$30.00 /hour
Second Shift
Ensure employee compliance with health and safety standards.
Promote and develop employee relations and communications on the processing line.
Maintain a smooth flow on the processing floor.
Responsible for timeclock management and time-off requests.
Completes and delivers annual performance reviews
Plays a key role
Assist with disciplinary investigations
Attend monthly safety meetings
Coordinate First Report of Injuries with First Responders and Human Resource Manager
Conduct accident and near-miss investigations
Assist with compliance and recordkeeping; maintain training documentation binder
Conduct and document daily rack and machine inspections
Conduct and document weekly eye wash stations inspections
Conduct and document monthly fire extinguisher inspections
Act as a liaison between Maintenance Supervisor, Facilities Manager and Plant Manager
Comply with SQF, HACCP and GMP requirements at all times
Other duties as assigned
All issues or non-conformances related to quality assurance or food safety must immediately be reported to the Quality Assurance Manager or departmental supervisor/manager for communication with the Quality Assurance Manager.
2nd Shift Grader Supervisor Qualifications:
High School Diploma
3+ years’ supervisory experience, preferably in a processing environment
Excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrated leadership skills
Skills in a database management and record keeping
Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality
Excellent organization skills
Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully
Knowledge of food quality standards
Ability to perform the duties of the machine operator or line packer
Good basic computer skills
