Join the AN/SQQ-89 program at our Manassas, Virginia location. The Systems Integration Engineer will be responsible for addressing a variety of software, hardware and infrastructure issues related to integrating a complex system of subsystems and functional capabilities in a simulated tactical lab environment.
This engineer will interact across the team to address matters that affect execution or performance of the project and provide regular progress status and participate in required program planning. This engineer will also participate in the System Engineering life cycle, including software development and early integration, hardware stand-up, string and system integration, system certification and sell-off, and system delivery and production support.
The Work
Responsibilities include integration support throughout our lab facilities requiring systems integration skills in software, hardware, and networking. Tasks may include installation of weekly software builds, system checkout, hardware health and grooming to include:
• Servers, disk drives, displays, HMI, KVM, and BIOS
• Developing and running test procedures
• Resource scheduling
• Asset allocation and configuration
• Support to partner organizations
• Potential need for limited CONUS travel

• Experience with compiling, installing, running, and testing software (including third-party software) and making modifications to support different hardware and network configurations
• Experience in Agile program execution and system engineering of large, complex systems
• Experience with software compilation utilities (i.e., GIT, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Gradle)
• Previous experience with Anti-Submarine Warfare
• Skills in coordinating with U.S. Navy customers, Program Office, and industry partners
• Demonstrated ability to work independently through resolution of challenging problems • Linux Proficiency
• Familiarity with scripting languages (i.e., bash, csh, and ksh)
• A self-starter with strong integration and debug skills
• Knowledge of system hardware, software configuration, and hardware stand-up
• Demonstrated experience and success collaborating in a team environment for system development and HW/SW troubleshooting
• Problem/issue reporting and tracking experience
• Qualified candidates must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. This requires U.S. Citizenship.
