Pridestaff is currently seeking an 3rd Shift Envelope Machine Technician/Mechanic for a paper manufacturing company located in Ontario, CA. This is a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Our client has great benefits and a great work environment. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

• Starting Pay Rate: $20-24  
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 5:30am to 1:30pm (while training on 1st shift) will end up on 3rd (3rd Shift 9:30 PM –5:30 AM) Paid 30 min lunch and two breaks

Position Summary:

Will be in a manufacturing environment adjusting or repairing an envelope folding machine. Will be trained to do size changes and manage the run of each order on the folding machine.  As well as learn to set up printing using water based flexographic ink. Must possess mechanical ability and have experience utilizing hand tools.  Top pay for this position over several years possible, based on performance, mid to high 20s per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent manufacturing or production repair experience (preferably experience in Envelope or Paper Manufacturing or Corrugated Box or Printing manufacturing industry).  Or other similar plastic or steel manufacturing industry. 
• Must be mechanically inclined and must have experience utilizing hand/power tools.
• Willing to train on 1st shift and then transfer to 3rd shift (will train at least 6 months)
• Verifiable work history and positive supervisory references.  
• Able to walk, stand, bend squat. Able to lift 50lbs pounds occasionally. 30lbs pounds frequently.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus!
• Must be willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check before start.
