User Interface Developer
The Opportunity:
Are you passionate about crafting an amazing user experience? The right interface can make a user platform easy to use, encourage early adoption, and save time and resources. We are searching for a talented lead UI developer with the right blend of skill and vision to build an engaging user experience that offers both functionality and efficiency.
As an experienced front-end developer, you will lead a development team, guiding them in learning new tools and techniques, identifying and implementing system improvements, and mentoring teammates. You will address challenges in healthcare by collaborating with a development team to create a user-centric submission platform. This role involves coordinating with UI/UX designers and back-end developers to ensure a seamless experience using JavaScript and low-code/no-code solutions. Your efforts will also focus on ensuring accessibility for all users, with a front-end that operates effectively across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security standards. This role requires deep knowledge of Pega's Theme-Cosmos UI library, section-based architecture, and upcoming Pega design and UI architectures, including Constellation and Cosmos-React.

You Have:
5+ years of experience in web application development.
Experience with Pega UI development.
Experience utilizing JavaScript expertise to remediate Section 508 compliance issues, providing coaching and best practices within the scope of Pega
Ability to provide expert guidance and direction to the UX team and Pega development teams, ensuring best practices and high standards in UI development
Ability to oversee and contribute to the implementation of UI designs, maintaining the integrity and fidelity of shared layer skins and CSS
Ability to implement responsive design patterns and discuss the trade-offs of each approach
Ability to mentor and support junior UI developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team
Ability to stay informed about and implement upcoming Pega design and UI architectures, including Constellation and Cosmos-React
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Information Technology

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
