Vice President – Specialty Leasing

We are seeking a Vice President to lead our Specialty Leasing team. Reporting to the EVP, Director of Leasing, the ideal candidate will be a key member of URW’s 360 Sales Team, which encompasses permanent leasing, kiosk leasing, common area leasing, and media sales. This role will lead the teams working directly with internal partners and external clients to develop, implement, and manage a wide range of activities that maximize revenue from our common area while honoring the customer journey.

Scope
- Support ongoing growth and development with a focus on team building, individual career growth, and succession planning. Provide training, mentoring, and leadership to meet company objectives.
- Responsible for the strategic direction for Specialty Leasing. Strategic direction includes establishing budgets and forecasts, spearheading revenue growth, and overall customer journey strategy.
- Create an environment that brings out the best in your team by communicating expectations, providing opportunities for growth, delegating effectively, and removing obstacles.
- Provide oversight and support to Directors and Managers.
- Identify, interview, and hire talented individuals to help bolster and grow the company.
- Conduct weekly meetings and mentor dealmakers on strategies to reach their assigned objectives.
- Work with your team to discuss, plan and implement process improvements.
- Strategize and implement organization and structural changes with other senior executives.
- Research and identify new business ventures and programs designed to increase revenue and value.
- Prepare, deliver, and present reports at C-Suite meetings.
- Achieve key performance metrics and goals for Specialty Leasing team.
- Develop deep and comprehensive market and industry understanding and competitive analysis by understanding sales, traffic trends, demographics, and historical knowledge.
- Leverage strategic relationships and experience to sell across multiple shopping centers. Responsible for achieving annual quota by working within assigned accounts.
- Confidently promote the advantages Westfield can offer a brand as an owner and operator of our assets.
What we are looking for
- Minimum of ten years’ experience in the shopping center industry with experience managing direct reports.
- Four-year college degree.
- Impeccable reputation for honesty and integrity.
- Highly experienced in building, growing, and maintaining a large book of business. Able to leverage key industry relationships to maximize revenue and opportunities. Passionate about deepening established customer relationships.
- Able to sell the 360 vision to all partners and clients.
- Deep understanding of basic accounting principles including budgeting & forecasting, NPV and IRR calculations.
- Experience creating engagement across multiple lines of business and able to lead directly and via influence to create change.
- Proven track record of achieving and beating personal and team goals.
- History of thriving in a rapidly changing environment.
- Reputation for being able to make informed and sound decisions that propel the business forward.
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
- Computer skills include Excel, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat and Salesforce

Los Angeles: $220,000 – $300,000 + Discretionary Annual Bonus
