Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Director of Development
- Writes letters, proposals, reports, bios, and scripts as needed for campaigns and events.
- Reviews all donor correspondence and written materials for various events, council, and committee meetings.
- Monitors invoices, expense reports, and department charges in accordance with annual budget.
- Collects and reports data.
- Updates processes and procedures as needed.
- Supervises staff.
- Assists with meetings and events as needed.
- Some evenings, mornings, and weekends
- Generates marketing plans for fundraising projects.
- Creates, maintains, and manages databases, to include preparation and review of mailing lists and audits for various groups.
- Researches grant opportunities, prepares, coordinates, and tracks applications and reports.
- Oversees department Document Control and serves as backup.
- Ensures that personal performance reflects the Mission, Vision and Standards of Behavior and Departmental Goals.
- Completes all WebEd requirements as assigned.
- Crosstrain for all positions in the department to accordingly provide coverage, if necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum requirement, two years of experience in a similar role
- High school diploma/GED
- Bachelor's degree required
- Excellent writing, grammatical, editing, oral communication, and leadership skills
- Advanced organizational and time-management skills, with extreme attention to detail
- Prioritize and organize work effectively
- Exercise discretion, judgment and initiative
- Advanced computer skills, including a high competency with Microsoft Office products
- Previous healthcare experience advantageous
