Description

• Accurately work with DPR's/Work Instructions
• Ability to make program offsets as needed
• Process pre-programmed setups as required to switch between jobs
• Ability to work with Mill, Broach and Deburr machines
• Ability to repeatedly load pieces into machines
• Ability to inspect parts and document non-conformance
• Change tooling as needed
• Ability to shovel/rake chips from machine beds into chip pans and ability to add oil to machine daily
• Works at different work stations as production needs require
• Support and sustain ISO procedures, Lean Manufacturing and 5-S efforts.
• Performs organizing and daily cleaning duties to ensure safe work area
• Other duties may be assigned in support of production needs

Requirements

• Ability to work any shift
• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in the set-up and operation of Mills/broaches/Drills
• Ability to read blueprints and shop orders
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments
