Serve as point of contact for all maintenance and repair needs at Richmond Health Network practices. Perform minor repairs and maintenance as warranted and/or directed. Maintain database of facility work, contractors, maintenance agreements, etc. Performs exterior work as required, to include landscaping, general maintenance, litter removal, etc. as required. Respond to all requests for facility needs from office managers and liaison with RUMC Facility Department as needed. Perform various routine maintenance assignments and supervise other maintenance personnel in the repair and maintenance of physical structures, equipment, and fixtures of the hospital's off-site facilities and grounds.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work from written work request or verbal instructions from management.
- Initiate and maintain maintenance log and inventory of materials for each location.
- Place orders for needed tools, supplies and materials
- Coordinate maintenance & repair of assigned vehicles
- Coordinate work with subcontracted maintenance vendors and capital project contractors
- Ability to prioritize work based on urgency, maintain necessary inventory of maintenance parts & supplies
- Provide light carpentry, plumbing & electrical repair/maintenance duties such as installation of shelves, repair of windows, screens, blinds, suspended ceilings, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, HVAC equipment
- Replacement of lighting lamps, HVAC filters, water filters, drain clearing, throughout off site clinical properties.
- Provide general maintenance service to Off-campus locations, i.e., assembly of furniture and accessories
- Respond to emergency situations in the Richmond Health Network facilities as directed
- Maintain vehicle, tools and equipment and work area in a stage, clean and orderly condition
- Follow standard and prescribed safety regulations
- Completes all documents needed with established department policies and procedures
- Attend hospital sponsored training
- Assist maintenance department personnel as assigned by AVP, Director of Facilities/Facilities Manager/Supervisor
- Assist with snow removal as situation demands
- Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible, and courteous environment

Job Requirements:
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times

Education, Licenses and certifications:
- Education: High School Diploma of Equivalent, Trade school diploma or certificate of training
- Experience (Type and Length): Five years recent experience in trade in residential, commercial, industrial, or healthcare organizations
- Certification/Licensure: Current New York Driver’s License

- Others:: NYFD Certificates of Fitness as needed or as need arises
Physical Requirements:
- Position requires prolonged periods of standing, reaching, walking throughout the working day.
- Position will be required to stoop, bend, lift, and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 annually
