This position is FT-36 hours a week, /Day shift, Monday-Friday. 25% travel.

Qualifications Education
High School Equivalent / GED . Required and
Graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Technology Program Required and
Graduate of an approved Sonography Program with cross-training in echocardiography Required and
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Work Experience
3 years or greater in echo, preferably in a tertiary care setting Required
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Ability to use all types of echo machines; good computer skills; good communication skills. Required
Is a leader in the department and an example to junior staff. Required
Promotes sonographer education through mentoring and instructing sonographers, fellows and students Required
Exceptional time management and prioritization skills Required
This role encounters Protected Health Information (PHI) as part of regular responsibilities. Required

Extensive knowledge of cardiac pathology; Required
Demonstrated excellence with all aspects of echo exams: transthoracic, transesophageal, stress, pharmacologic, Strain, 3d, pacemaker and LVAD optimization. Required
