About the Role:

The primary function of a Retail Outlet Sales Associate is to represent Bob’s Discount Furniture and its products with honesty and integrity while guiding the customer through the sales process.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, enthusiastic, and respectful attitude.

• Achieve monthly sales goals and key metric targets.

• Partner with management for sales performance improvement.

• Learn and sell merchandise features and benefits.

• Involve management in overcoming customer objections.

• Participate in meetings, workshops, and training.

• Maintain store appearance and handle damaged merchandise.

• Price and tag Outlet merchandise.

• Assist in merchandise assembly.

• Adhere to work schedule, attire, and shift requirements.

• Stage Showroom/Outlet for merchandise receipt.

• Assist in inventory and merchandise relocation.

• Observe safety requirements.

• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Tech-forward, fast learner.

• Excellent presentation, verbal, and listening skills.

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

• Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.

• Ability to understand and communicate information effectively.

• Good coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Career minded with capacity to grow professionally.

• A team player with a desire to exceed expectations.

• Customer Service experience.

Physical Requirements

• Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

• Ability to move throughout all areas of stores.

• Stand or sit continuously to perform job functions.

• Visually able to perform essential job functions.
