Job Summary
The person in this position shall be responsible for but not limited to assisting the administration with the School Site Council and ELAC meetings, assisting parents and students as an advocate for academic achievement, mobilizing community-parent resources in support of projects and achievement of educational objectives, receives office visitors, makes home visitations and assists with parent/administrator telephone calls. Serves as the liaison from the Superintendent’s office to community stakeholders.

Qualifications: This position requires the equivalent of a high school diploma and 3 years of experience working with students in an instructional or social service setting. Candidates who possess a BA or AA highly preferred. Working knowledge of modern office methods and practices; establish and maintain confidence and respect of others while serving as a representative of the school district with the community. Requires a valid driver’s license. Bilingual Spanish is a MUST.
Beginning Date: August 1, 2024 (contingent on clearances for fingerprints & TB)
Hours: 8 hours, 5 days a week (may include evening & weekend hours)
