Job Abstract

Principal Responsibilities

Project management and leadership of major bearing Manufacturing Process Improvement projects from concept to completion including coordinating activities between cross functional teams.

• Guide entry level engineers with manufacturing product or process improvement projects.
• Providing technical leadership to entry level Engineers in bearing manufacturing processes. This includes troubleshooting equipment failures, resolving quality issues, and reviewing equipment capabilities.
• Lead process improvements and product/process transfers in Manufacturing including project planning, milestone reviews, process qualification, developing work instructions, training of production staff and coordinating activities between cross functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

Seven (7) or more years of experience with progressive advancement in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Project management ability to lead major manufacturing projects.
• Technical knowledge of bearing manufacturing equipment & processes.
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Visio, etc.)
• Knowledge of mechanical & electrical design practices.
• Knowledge of process improvements in Manufacturing and advanced knowledge of data analysis.
