What you will do:
- Adhere to all Quality Standard Operating Procedures and processes
- Responsible for testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods
- Obtain and test samples of materials according to standard procedures to ensure compliance with established internal specifications
- Supply testing information to corporate and send samples out as needed
- Maintain accurate and organized records of laboratory analysis
- Perform daily calculations, compare lab results to expected values and report variances to supervisor
- Conduct instrument maintenance and calibration
- Operate equipment, record data, and use discretion in the evaluation of data, often working without supervision
- Maintain QC log books with complete documentation
- Report any quality, processing problems, and out-of-spec. conditions to the QA supervisor
- Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment and complete regular inventory checks of necessary lab items
- Prepare spreadsheets analyzing data and alert supervisor of trends in data
- Scan, file, and keep records of all batch sheets and raw materials COAs

- Other duties as required
What you will bring:
- 2+ years of experience in a laboratory; equivalent degree may be considered in lieu of lab experience
- Associates degree in chemistry or a related major preferred
- Knowledge of Chemistry and Mathematics
- Computer experience necessary, including a working knowledge of MS office
- Ability to communicate effectively with peers, and management
