Under general supervision, performs financial analysis, accounting, compliance, research, and administrative activities to support revenue initiatives within the division. Prepares budgets and forecasts projected revenue. Conducts reconciliations. Generates reports and processes billing documents. Documents, validates, tests, and assesses various accounting control systems. Identifies risks and opportunities related to revenue. Minimum Qualifications
A High School Diploma or GED is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field from an accredited four year college or university is required. Three years of full time paid experience in the Accounting/Business or Consulting field in an analystical, accounting, statistician, financial, or technical role is requried. Should be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite and various accounting software packages. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds. A valid State of Ohio Driver's License is required.

Accurately perform payroll process functions.
Accurately perform all accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
Accurately perform the annual county certification process.
Accurately perform the duties of the Assessment Analyst.
Financial analysis, reconciliation, and payment application of large volumes of account transactions.
Accurately perform the required processes related to street vacations.
Respond to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data.
Effectively communicate and resolve any discrepancies found in the processing of financial data including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, and all transactions.
Effectively resolve financial disputes raised by the customers, stakeholders, vendors, and other departments and divisions as needed.
Maintain accurate records for all account transactions.
Ensure correct billing has occurred.
Provide excellent customer service to clients, stakeholders, vendors, and other departments and divisions as needed.
Accurately prepare various reports.
EXPERTISE REQUIRED:
Knowledgeable and proficient in all Microsoft Office including Excel formulas and functions.
Must be a self-starter, possess excellent business acumen, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills, and be able to multitask effectively.
Knowledge and understanding of governmental accounting principles and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
