The Capital Branch of Equitable Advisors has been a constant in the DC Metro, Maryland and Virginia communities for over 80 years. Situated in, and reflective of the communities they serve, our offices in Maryland (Columbia) and Virginia (Falls Church, Richmond, Roanoke) house over 200 Financial Professionals and Staff support members and have an additional 50 team members integrated throughout the region.

The Capital Branch is seeking a detail-oriented/multi-tasking Executive Vice President Administrative Assistant in the Falls Church office. This person will report directly to the Local Operations Manager.

This position is located in Falls Church, Virginia and is required to be onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Calendaring
• Working with advisors and staff on issue escalation
• Creation of meeting agendas and Powerpoint presentations
• Assist in recruiting efforts through sourcing candidates and scheduling interviews
• Expense submission
• Meeting organizaition and training
• Client servicing
• Miscellaneous projects

The base salary range for this position is $52,000-$55,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

Required Qualifications:

• Able to work closely with both the leadership team and advisors
• Ability to function independently and work well with a team
• Proactive decision-making skills
• Strong ability to collaborate
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Required to work with confidential material – must be discreet and trustworthy
• Role is expected to be in office daily

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2 years of experience in business a plus

Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

Office Administration: Knowledge of office administration activities; ability to carry out ongoing office administration tasks effectively and efficiently in support of local and remote teams.

Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
