Thorough knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.
Thorough knowledge of University rules and regulations, processes, protocols and procedures for budget, accounting and fund management, and / or personnel management.
Solid knowledge of common University-specific computer application programs.
Knowledge of a variety of administrative operation activities, such as OR scheduling principals and guidelines.
3-5 years of experience in administrative analysis and reporting techniques, project management and / or human resources policies and procedures for employees.
Strong/Advanced interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication, active listening, critical thinking, and persuasiveness, advising and counseling skills.
Strong skills in short-term and long-term strategic planning, analysis, problem-solving, and customer service.
Thorough knowledge and skills with relevant business software systems, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Able to work in a high stress environment with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds
Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Strong skills in planning, resourcing, and monitoring effective delivery of training.
APEX Optime trained or similar surgery scheduling experience.
