Job Abstract

Advanced Compressed Air Solutions is currently seeking a qualified compressor technician to perform field maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial compressed air equipment in the Houston, TX service area. Systems and equipment being serviced include rotary screw and reciprocating air compressors (oil flooded and oil free type), as well as desiccant and refrigerated dryer systems.

This position comes with:

• A salary of $25-40+/hr. (based on industry experience & tenure)?

• **$7,500 referral bonus for any personally recommended candidates who are also hired**

Shift information:

• Typically, Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm local time (flexible depending on customer needs)

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform warranty, preventive maintenance and repair service on compressed airequipment, specifically rotary screw compressor systems

• Ability to test and document proper operating parameters of the equipment.

• Complete Work Order Forms, Service Data Reports, Timecards and other associated paperwork as required with emphasis on accuracy and punctuality

• Perform additional assignments per managers/coordinators request

• At all times wear appropriate personal safety protection including, but not limited to hardhat, safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection and arc flash gear in accordance with customer and ACAS Safety Manual. Must always practice safe work habits.

• Must be available for technical support to other ACAS employees

Required Experience/Education:

• Minimum of 2 years of performing maintenance/repairs on compressor systems

• Troubleshooting of electrical and pneumatic controls.

• Experience working with 3 phase electric, drive motors, conductors and circuit protection, sizing and installation of conduit, enclosures, breakers, transformers, motor starters, etc. Understanding of Ladder Logic (PLC/Relay).

• Experience with navigating control boards.

• Variable Speed Drive Installation, troubleshooting, and programming.
