Job Summary:
Journeyman Electrician applies a thorough technical knowledge of electrical theory and practice as required to adjust, align, modify, rework, and repair electronic/electrical industrial plant equipment and systems. Repairs, tests and maintains plant electrical systems and equipment.
*1st Shift – 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM - El Segundo, CA. This position is an onsite role. *
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Uses electrical and electronic measuring instruments as required.
Repairs electrical equipment, fixtures, controls and accessories.
Determines need for repair or replacement, and best and safest method of restoring interrupted electrical service.
Troubleshoots all types of electrical difficulties and makes such repairs and replacements of parts and accessories as is necessary to restore normal operation or to maintain uninterrupted services.
Performs shop duties requiring use of shop equipment as is necessary to carry out maintenance operations.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience in Electrical trades.
Experience with testing and measuring instruments.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Preferred Qualifications:
Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or trade school program.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Teams, Outlook).
The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee is occasionally required to walk long distances or stand for significant periods of time.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Additional Information:
The hourly range for this role is $30.07 to $44.76. The hourly range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

• Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
This position is part of a collective bargaining agreement. Wage and workplace conditions, including shift times, are subject to this agreement. Individuals hired into this position will be represented by a union.
