JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
The Instrumentation Engineering Technician level I will help us procure, organize, and catalogue parts and equipment in support of flight test operations. All work will be completed under the supervision and mentorship of senior Logisticians. Tasks will include:
- Procure parts and equipment following applicable Air Force procedures and documentation
- Track and Maintain parts stock as needed to meet immediate needs of Flight Test Modifications and Operational Support
- Track statuses of materials throughout the ordering process and provide feedback and statuses to customers and stakeholders
- Interact with a variety of entities including vendors, stakeholders, customers and supervision to understand and evaluate the required materials in support of unique tasks
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in the use of word processing tools such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel and the proper use of email applications
- Quality communication skills (both verbal and written) and be able to have efficient interactions with people in various positions
- Basic working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs
- Planning/Organizational skills and the ability to work multiple tasks during a given timeframe
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED equivalent. Hands-on experience performing tasks related to the work unit is desired. The incumbent must have good communication and analytical skills and basic working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs. The incumbent must exhibit basic planning/organizing skills and must be able to take direction from senior unit personnel and work under deadlines. The incumbent must possess a valid, state issued driver's license. Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
SALARY
The expected salary range for this position is $40,019 to $51,688 annually.Note: The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay. JT4, LLC considers factors such as (but not limited to) responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Most positions involve work typical of office environment with no unusual hazards. There is occasional lifting to 20 pounds, constant sitting with occasional use of computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant mental alertness. Frequent travel to remote Company work locations may be required. Ability to work in a field environment, which may include shift work, overtime, and travel to remote locations.
