Job Abstract

• Maintenance on forklift equipment, pallet jacks, chargers, batteries, and small conveyors

• Maintenance of overhead dock doors, ramp dock levelers, construction repair, floor repair, office doors etc.

• Light plumbing occasionally

• Various carpentry assignments as needed

• Various metal projects for repairs (Racking)

• Interact with associates in a cooperative, constructive manner

• Relay direction from Operations Manager to other assistants

• Will be trained on the proper safety procedures and elimination of potential hazards

• Exposure to various chemicals (ie. Battery Acid, Lubricants, Paint and Cleaning Solvents)

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Perform routine, repetitive daily inspection, and maintenance necessary to building exterior/interior.

• Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and construction work in the basic building maintenance trades, such as carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, and carpets.

• Perform functions in the construction, installation, and maintenance of roofs, furniture, fences, cabinets, shelving, and a variety of other structures and items.

• Prepares and paint walls and woodwork or performs other types of refinishing. Including all miscellaneous jobs.

• Clears clogged drains and replaces plumbing fixtures.

• Cleans work area, tools, and equipment.

• Understanding of hydraulic and other systems.

• Must be able to operate a forklift, light truck, and other related motorized equipment.

• Must have a valid driver's license.

• Working in a warehouse, includes seasonal temperature variations and moderate noise level
