Applynow for the position of Technical Writer/Editor. You will beresponsible for producing high quality documentation appropriate to itsintended audience. Candidates preferably reside within a 2–3-hour drive of our Tarrytown, NY or Newark, DE sites to attend on-site meetings when needed.
Your role:
- analyze existing standard and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-source opportunities.
- responsible for productlabeling for immuno and chemistry assays.
- will join a team of talented tech writers who work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to make our products easier to use.
- will work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product(s).
Competenciesand Key Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills,including the ability to articulate clear messages from complexdata/information.
- Desktop Publishing and Content Management Systemexperience.
- Must have strong collaboration skills, ability tointerface with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the Englishlanguage including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, andgrammar.
- Understanding of clinical data and reports, ascientific background knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to learn and utilize computer in standardbusiness applications including electronic document control, word processing,spreadsheets and databases.
- High ethical standards.
- Highly organized, with ability to prioritize own tasksas well as those of others.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively virtually in conductinginternal and external business.
Your expertise:
- Technical Writing Certification (preferred)
- Science degree or experience in academic settings or as a Medical Technologist a plus
- Minimum 5 years' direct work experience technical writing in a medical device manufacturing company
- Minimum 5 years' experience with XML-based content management system (or equivalent) Abode Frame Maker and In Design, intermediate level
- Experience working in the InVitro Diagonostic industry highly preferred.

If you our based in NYC or Westchester County, NY the pay rangefor this position is $95,000-$110,000 U.S. dollars annually; however, base payoffered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, aswell as where the work will be performed. The annual incentive target is (8%)of base pay. Siemens Healthineers offersa variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holidaypay.
