Paralegal (Hybrid - 1 to 3 days onsite per week)
Overview:
The Paralegal will provide support to our Legal Department on a wide range of legal matters and administrative tasks, including compliance and litigation matters. This highly motivated, self-starter generalist role will work in a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative environment.
The impact you'll make:
- Ability to assist in-house attorneys on a variety of legal matters, including compliance, litigation and also transactional matters
- Responsible for tracking, coordinating and managing litigation matters, including third-party subpoena and search warrants. Review and collect, sort and prepare document productions, updating litigation calendars, preliminary drafting of discovery requests and related responses.
- Assist with various internal projects (including tracking and coordinating, as needed) related to compliance (including internal company audits and annual reviews of various compliance programs), employment, litigation, intellectual property, data privacy, insurance and other legal matters, issues and/or process, as may be assigned
- Prepare, review, organize and maintain legal filing system(s), including commercial agreements and templates and forms
- Train company personnel regarding established Legal Departments processes and procedures, and otherwise act as a key liaison between the Legal Department and our internal business clients
- Develop and improve processes related to the above and to help make the Legal Department more effective and efficient
- Research relevant statutes, rulings and regulations and prepare related summaries and memos to be used as a basis for answering requests in response to internal legal inquiries
- Assist with offensive and defensive intellectual property enforcement and brand protection matters
- Provide administration support to the Legal Department
- Assist with other duties that may be assigned
What you've accomplished:
- Bachelor’s degree/equivalent and/or Paralegal certification
- 3 years of paralegal experience, ideally in a law firm setting and/or in-house environment
- Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information
- Detail-oriented, highly self-motivated, self-starter, proactive and able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written, oral and organization communication skills
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Office, G-Suite and any practice-related software
- Ability to adapt to and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Agility and flexibility, able to shift among competing priorities and adapt quickly to new policies, processes, and technology/services

- Experience with Confluence/JIRA/Atlassian
The base pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.26 per hour.
