Job Summary
- Position hours-Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, located in Innsbrook, near Hwy 64 and Broad St.
- Responsible for providing support in patient care and in carrying out therapeutic activities as directed by the therapist in a team environment consistent with professional and ethical standards.
Demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion.
Essential Job Functions
- Transport patients within the facility to activities as needed.
- Provide patient care support to clinician(s).
- Report patient response to interventions and condition to clinician(s).
- Prepare treatment area before and after each patient’s treatment.
- Clean therapeutic equipment.
- Carry out clerical tasks.
- Assist with maintaining The Joint Commission Standards as directed by supervisor.
- Maintain appropriate levels of supplies and patient care items.
Employment Qualifications
- The incumbent shall, at a minimum, be a high school graduate or equivalent.
- Experience in working is a health care setting is desirable.
- Experience with outpatient programs/services is desirable.
- Basic computer skills desirable
