Position Summary
While working as a Graphics Intern, you will be responsible for working with pre-made templates, ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency for client artwork and layouts. You will also handle various departmental duties and tasks. This role involves ensuring that all jobs are print-ready and meet quality and specification standards while providing support to the Graphic Design Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work on pre-made template jobs such as business cards, brochures and benefit guides.
Tracking time in EPMS through Data Collection.
Proofing the Graphic Designers proofs to the customers.
Able to make Intro Calls out to customers when needed.
Following up on the proofs sent to the customer via email and by phone.
Processing & Printing Paperwork for the job box review/proofing.
Requesting and processing change orders/processing change orders.
Discussing Job Ticket issues with Project Managers.
Discussing Client Issues and Job Issues with Relationship Managers
Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications
Completed coursework in graphic design.
Solid understanding of computers, data entry, internet searches, the Microsoft Office suite, the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and email applications.
Proficient Adobe InDesign knowledge.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Strong desire to learn, grow and be mentored by senior designers
Assist with various other tasks as needed in the department
