As a Motion Designer, you will utilize tools like After Effects and Premier to craft compelling narratives (with original content or content provided) and visually engaging content for various platforms such as advertising, digital display, social media, event, OOH, our website and within the Xumo experience. Your responsibilities will include creating original motion designs and updating existing content provided by our agencies to ensure alignment with evolving brand standards. Additionally, you will demonstrate a thoughtful approach to understanding the customer journey, identifying and delivering opportunities to bring Xumo to life in strategic ways that enhance and simplify customer understanding while elevating the Xumo brand. Comcast and Charter Communications will form a 50/50 joint venture that will bring our world-class Flex streaming platform, 4K streaming devices, voice remote and XClass TVs nationwide. You will want to join our innovative team, because together we will develop and offer consumers a next-generation streaming platform, with a world-class user experience and navigation and all the top apps, bringing more choice to the streaming marketplace. Comcast also will contribute XUMO to the joint venture, our free ad-supported service that currently delivers more than 200 unique streaming channels and features hundreds of free content choices.
Job Description
Additional Information/Responsibilities:
- Creating original motion designs as well as updating existing content provided by our agencies to ensure alignment with evolving brand standards.
- Demonstrate a thoughtful approach to understanding the customer journey, identifying and delivering opportunities to bring Xumo to life in strategic ways that enhance and simplify customer understanding while elevating the Xumo brand.
- Your creativity and ability to keep our brand ever-current in the dynamic landscape of the market and product offerings will be essential to our success.
- Experience with After Effects & Premier pro required. Adobe CC, Figma & C4D experience preferred.
- Position is office based in Philadelphia, PA or Irvine, CA-- 4 days/week & 1 day remote

Core Responsibilities
- Leads motion design across brand marketing for the Xumo brand including but not limited to motion graphics design and execution, video editing and execution, and digital animation for display and web.
- Maintain motion guidelines and principles and ensure brand consistency across the Xumo brand.
- Partner with teams across the company to produce video and motion graphics for advertising, social, digital display, OOH, web, event and more.
- Partner with and collaborate with external agencies on motion graphics and video projects.
- Coordinates and contributes to the motion design for external digital communications and web sites for the company, including content development. Assists with a variety of web and new media projects for the company and collaborates in special projects for the company where there are additional needs for public web, new media communication and the use of the company's public web site.
- Reviews competing brands design solutions that differentiate the organization's products from those of competitors.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Compensation
This job can be performed in California with a Pay Range of $107,061.50 - $167,891.90
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
