Required:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Certified by the State of California Department of Health Services in Diagnostic Radiology (CRT)
Certified Radiologic Technologist in Mammography (CRT-M)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Mammography
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association
Ability to acquire Radiology Tech (ARRT) license within 1 year
A Day in the Life: As a Mammography Technician, you'll play a vital role in patient care and procedural efficiency. From managing patient questionnaires to assisting in specialized procedures like biopsies, you'll ensure smooth workflow and high-quality diagnostic images. Your expertise with mammographic equipment and patient instructions will be key to the department's seamless operation.
