Software QA Engineer

Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality of software applications and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality requirements and specifications.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure software reliability.
- Document and track defects, and work with development teams to resolve them.
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for software improvements.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on software quality and usability.
- Conduct root cause analysis for software issues and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain quality assurance documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies related to software quality assurance.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
- Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with testing tools and techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience in the HVAC industry or related fields.
Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks.
Certification in software quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB).
