Job Abstract

The John Rolfe Family YMCA is seeking a part time organized, self-motivated wellness coordinator to oversee wellness programs for the Y branch. This part time position starts at $15 per hour.

DUTIES of a Wellness Coordinator

The Wellness Coordinator will maintain aspects of the wellness center schedules, wellness floor and related areas; lead and sub small group training, group exercise classes and various in branch programs; maintain group exercise schedules, reporting and verify part time wellness staff current certifications. And other duties as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS of a Wellness Coordinator The Wellness Coordinator will need to have a high school diploma or GED as well as current CPR, AED and First Aid. Current Nationally Accredited Personal Training or Group Exercise Instructor certification required.

Candidates for the wellness coordinator position must possess strong relationship building and communication skills. Experience in a wellness center is required. Experience in group exercise or personal training programming required.
