Job Description The Assistant Director of CETL (Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning) is responsible for assisting the Director in the planning, development, and implementation of programs and services that support the professional development of faculty and staff at Lincoln University. The Assistant Director will work closely with the Director to ensure that CETL programs align with the university's mission and strategic goals.
Responsibilities Assist the Director in the development and implementation of CETL programs and services Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify professional development needs and design programs to meet those needs Coordinate and facilitate CETL workshops, seminars, and other professional development opportunities Assist in the development and implementation of CETL assessment and evaluation strategies Provide individual consultations and coaching to faculty and staff on teaching and learning strategies Assist in the management of CETL resources, including budget, facilities, and technology Stay current with trends and best practices in teaching and learning, and share that knowledge with the Lincoln University community Perform other duties as assigned by the Director
Qualifications Master's degree in education, instructional design, or related field Minimum of three years of experience in higher education, preferably in a teaching and learning center or similar role Experience in program development, implementation, and assessment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and project management skills Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and administrators Knowledge of current trends and best practices in teaching and learning
