PURPOSE:
Responsible for overseeing, assisting, and constantly monitoring inventory control specialists and audit clerks in maintaining inventory, counting, and auditing integrity during the Fresh selection shift.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review MA Reports daily.
- Responsible for MA Counts and Tasks Performed on your shift
- Responsible for training and retraining all counters on the RF Counting Process
- Responsible for running weekly performance reports on counter tasks generated for the week
- Responsible for auditing stores based on the Top 10 Store List
- Work closely with Operations for the availability of stores needing audit
- Enter Audit Data on Excel Spreadsheet
- Email and scan copies of your audits at the end of the shift
- Monitor counter carts and pallet jacks needed for the dept.
- Responsible for managing and scheduling a full-time workforce and maintaining weekly schedules
- Responsible to maintain vacation schedules and submit vacation to payroll
- Responsible for assisting in the hiring process of full-time associates
- Work closely with Inventory Control Manager on projects, inventory adjustments, missing pallets, counter issues, auditing issues, etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required – degree desired
- Strong computer skills with the ability to work with multiple screens on several computer monitors simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills required, verbal and written
- Have the ability to communicate, make sound decisions, and work well under pressure
- Ability to create, use, edit, and share Excel spreadsheets with data from 16,000+ SKU’s
- Able to use data to research details about problem SKUs and fix problems
- Able to adapt to product changes from vendors or mechanical changes within the system
- Ability to supervise and work with and through others to achieve desired results
- Ability to work shifts that exceed 10 hours/ or varied shifts/hours.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:
- Some work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
- Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal
- Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday.
- Stooping, bending, pivoting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
- Workday is fast paced
