- Assists plant GM with capital projects for the facility and help manage budget costs for such projects
- Provides engineering support to plant maintenance department on and as needed
- Coordinates the project activities at the plant level with all involved departments such as operation, management, maintenance, compliance and Health and Safety
- Attends all plant management meetings and provides engineering assistance for maintenance and other projects to ensure proper and timely repairs, modifications and improvements to equipment and systems
- Maintains complete documentation and updated facility drawings on file at the facility as needed
What does it take to work at Clean Harbors?
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering disciplines
- 5 + years of Project Management experience preferred
- Capital Projects experience
- Creating and managing budgets
- Experience in a KPI and Metrics environment a plus !
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- General knowledge of multiple engineering disciplines
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD
- MS Office Suite such as Word and Excel and exposure or experience with Microsoft projects
- Experience with process instrumentation, piping, valves, pumps, material of construction, coating systems, fire detection and controls, material handling and building/structure maintenance, electrical systems/electrics
- Must be able to pass an eye exam for color determination
- Must be able to stand for long periods, push, pull, crouch, carry, reach, stoop, work at heights, speak, listen, taste and smell
