WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
The Marketing Specialist plays a key role in the marketing department, including essential marketing operations and facilitating seamless go-to-market execution.
In this position, you will support the marketing department by leading the day-to-day administration and coordination of marketing projects including both internal (Fluidra Marketing) and external (Custom Marketing). Responsibilities will extend to the project management of FluidraPro Academy and Corporate Events, as well as the management of frontline portals including the Fluidra Lit Store and the Fluidra Rewards Display Order Portal. The Marketing Specialist will supervise project timelines, maintaining clear action items within project management tools, and anticipating and escalating obstacles.
In this dynamic, fast-paced role, you will collaborate extensively with internal cross-functional teams, including media, web and creative teams, as well as a mix of external agencies to ensure programs and activities are on strategy, on brand, on budget and meet agreed-upon timelines. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate closely with project owners and business leadership to develop comprehensive, best-in-class marketing plans that drive sales and help meet larger business objectives. Additionally, you will:
- Collaborate with project owners to define the go-to-market strategy for marketing initiatives and new product launches
- Ideate, develop, and propose new marketing initiatives designed to increase marketplace penetration utilizing a broad mix of touchpoints – CRM, digital, retail merchandising, print
- Maintain clear and effective communications with the marketing department
- Ensure flawless execution of marketing programs
- Maintain project briefs, marketing calendars, marketing budgets and ROI analyses to internal stakeholders, including executive audiences
- Audit the competition and identify opportunities to lead within the industry
- Provide technical expertise to Customers / Suppliers in solving technical problems
WHAT WE SEEK
- 2+ years of experience in marketing communications, or related experience
- Passion, creativity, and a sense of humor is a must
- Proven ability to build trust within the organization and communicate honestly, transparently, and clearly
- Strong communication, presentation, brief writing, and copy writing skills
- Ability to understand product, target consumer, and competitive landscape
- Understanding of product positioning, messaging, merchandising (in-store and online), CRM, digital and media
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, energetic, self-starter and enthusiastic mindset
- Problem solver with strong attention to detail and follow-through
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field, or equivalent experience

Expected hourly rate range is $31.00 – 38.00/ hour. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
